We pride ourselves on being a community of concern for the people who live in the villages. Our concern for people,
coupled with an aggressive maintenance service we feel makes for gracious and comfortable living. But for the best word on the subject, we'll let our
residents talk. Their names are held to protect their privacy.

Mr. and Mrs. G write: "We are grateful to have the opportunity to tell you how much we enjoy at Horizon Villages. We moved from a fourteen room
house and of course were a little apprehensive about our move into an "apartment". However, we were more than pleasantly surprised. Our new home is
really spacious and is close to three shopping malls
We have the availability of a terrific
maintenance person who is always handy and who takes care of our immediate needs
(lawn mowing, show removal etc.) We also appreciate the fact that we can walk out of our home and know that it will be just as we
left it upon our return. Our landlord/landlady is "special" and we can tell you it was a wise and satisfying move for us.
Mary has just moved into Village VI and reports: "I've lived many places in my life and Horizon Villages is by far the
best. The apartments are large. well designed, and very well constructed. The support is personal and caring in a very human way, and it's a real measure
of security to know that people care. I heartily recommend it. Of course, I spent several years on the waiting list, so I urge people to investigate it
early on.
Mr.
B. and his wife have been retired for many years, and called in their comments. The feel that the proximity of Horizon
Villages to shopping malls within one mile, churches nearby, and several favorite restaurants combine with a well cared for, homey environment to make an
excellent choice as a lifestyle.
Mr. M. has lived at Horizon Villages for just under two years. He says that being close to the YMCA for the pool and
workout facilities, and close to his office at the Convenient Care Center are major points for him. He is an active person, and is often seen at the tennis
courts at the pool conveniently within 50 yards of his door.

Dr. F. is a widower who retired from his faculty position at Cornell. He says that he finds the wooded nature of the
Villages and the rolling hills overlooking Cayuga Lake very peaceful and he likes the feel of the country and the easy access to Cornell for events (less than
three miles) a wonderful combination for body and mind. |
