Health Services

Ithaca is fortunate to have top rate health services both locally and regionally.  At the local level Cayuga Medical Center speaks of its "regional reputation for excellence," and offers high quality services across an array of specialties.  Also, they operate a convenient care center within two miles of Horizon Villages which includes easy access medical care, day surgery, diagnostic clinics and offices for a number of physicians, dentists, and other health care professionals.

Also on a local level, Guthrie Clinic operates a clinic service as an extension of its regional center with full service care and diagnostic services.

Regionally, Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, some 60 miles to the north and east, and Strong Memorial Hospital, in Rochester, about a 100 miles away, are teaching  hospitals and offer the complete spectrum of the most cutting edge
